Adventurers, we’re excited to share the latest game update, featuring new mechanics and gameplay adjustments!
Preparing for the Test Economy Launch
*Some features in this section won’t be available immediately with this update. They will be activated with the upcoming Trial Coin Run Event.
- *Meet $SHARDS Fragments! During adventures, now you can collect $SHARDS Fragments, our new temporary currency — go on adventures and participate in the Trial Coin Run Event!
- *NFT Equipment Charging: Charging your NFT equipment is now essential, as it allows you to gather $SHARDS Fragments and, eventually, tokens. Note that during events, the charging cost will differ from the usual price.
- *Charge Deduction on Island Entry: To activate the “Attraction Force” effect, required for receiving special drops like $SHARDS Fragments and, in the future, tokens, players must spend a set amount of charge based on the island’s size. The strength of the “Attraction Force” effect is influenced by the equipment’s luck level and charge strength, both of which are determined by the rarity of the item and the artifact used for charging, as well as the level of an island.
- NFT Crafting with Luck Level: Now, crafted items are assigned a luck level based on their specific level/tier, so an item crafted at L1 T4 will have a luck level of 4
GAMEPLAY
- Increased Capacity Cost for Building Elements: The cost of building elements has been adjusted to improve resource balance.
- Planter and Chest Limits: Planters and chests now have a 30-item cap and no longer add comfort to your environment.
- Crafting Station Queue Limit: Crafting stations can now hold a maximum of 100 items in the queue
- Hotbar now features 8 active slots. The total number of inventory slots remains unchanged
- Decor Item Limit: A limit on decorative items placed across all home islands is now in effect.
- Rune Drop Rebalance: We continue to listen to your feedback and this time we tackled the imperfect rune drop system. Now, when you’re on an adventure, runes for the current tier drop with a higher chance, while higher-tier runes still drop as before. This adjustment minimizes unlucky streaks, providing a smoother experience for rune collection. Adventure cost has also increased but with rune drop rebalance, it will still be easier to stay on the same level of island.
- Updated Processing Recipes: Processing recipes have been simplified.
- Adjusted Workbench and Upgrade Cost: The costs for workbenches and upgrades have been modified.
- New T1 Essences: Added to make upgrading collectible items easier and smoother.
- NFT Crafting with Luck Level: Now, crafted items are assigned a luck level based on their specific level/tier, so an item crafted at L1 T4 will have a luck level of 4.
- Increased Crafting Cost for Collectible Items: The cost of crafting collectible items has been increased to support the in-game economy and create a more balanced crafting experience. Additionally, the crafting cost in Gems increases with the item’s level and tier due to the aforementioned luck involvement.
- Increased Upgrading Cost for Collectible Items: The cost of upgrading collectible items has been revised. As the rarity and tier of these items increase, so will the costs to level them up, creating a more balanced progression system
- Increased Entry Fees in Gold: The costs for both lower and higher-level adventures have been adjusted.
- Increased Gold Costs for Equipment Repairs: The costs for both lower and higher-level repairs have been adjusted.
